Send Email to Group in Gmail: Create Contact Groups in Gmail


Send Email to Group in Gmail This tutorial will come really handy if you want to send email to a group of people regularly from your Gmail account. A good way is to create a mailing list, or Gmail group from your contact list and send the email to that email group.

How to Create Email Contact Group List in Gmail

Step 1 : Click on the "Contacts" tab on your left panel.

This will open your Contacts page where most of your contacts will be located under "Other Contacts".
Step 2 : Click on "New Group" to create an mailing list or a group of email contacts.

I am choosing Science Grp. as the name. Click OK
Step 3 : Once you have created the email group. Go to your "Other Contacts" tab and select the people you want to add in your new mailing group.

Step 4 : After selecting people, click "Groups" from the menu list and select the group you want to add those contacts to. (Science Grp in this case)
Done… Now you can send email to group in Gmail. You can create different groups for different reasons, ultimately it about sending one email to many people at once easily.

How to Send Email to All Contacts in a Gmail Group

Step 1 : Click "Compose".
Step 2 : Enter the name of your email group. It will automatically pop. Click to Add it to the "To" field.

Step 3 : Write you Message and Click Send. Done…
The email will be send to all people in that email group. Note: You can send max. 200 emails at once in gmails.
