Quickly Restart "explorer.exe" Process with a Batch File

Vishal Gupta created this useful batch file script which can end task of explorer.exe process and then restart it automatically using windows shell commands.
Step 1 : Download this batch file : Restart-Explorer.bat
Step 2 : To test it double-click, run the downloaded file and you will see that your windows explorer closes and restarts.

Step 3 : Now place it wherever you think is easily accessible.
You can pin it to the Start Menu, drag drop the .bat file into your start menu. Or you can pin it to your taskbar, see below.

How to Add, Pin the .bat File to Windows Taskbar

The steps below will show you how to add non-exe files, folders to your windows taskbar.
Step 1 : Drag and drop any .exe file into the taskbar to pin it. In this eg: I am using cmd.exe (search cmd in start menu)

Step 2 : Right-Click on the icon. And Right-Click again on "Command Prompt" and go toProperties.

Step 3 : Set the file path of the .bat file in the the target.

Step 4 : Click OK to save. You can also change the icon if you want. (this way you can add folders, files etc)
Finally click on taskbar icon to see if its working fine.
